A Trip Down The Aisle...

I am constantly browsing for presents to shower the bride with. Not only is my sister engaged, but many of my best friends so a gift for the bride is always on my mind. I came across this bridal line from Target (yes Target!) and they have all the essentials for a bride to be.

The vest. The perfect piece for all seasons. I remember buying a jean vest years ago and I'm so glad I never gave it away, because I know its going to be my go-to layering piece for the summer.A vest can be worn so many different ways: as a layering piece, a statement piece and with all different types of outfits, from a maxi dress to jean shorts. Don't feel like spending the money on this? If you have an old denim jacket, cut off the sleeves and you will find yourself a new jean vest!

This skirt has been sitting in my closet for some time now as I've been waiting for the right time/ event to wear it. I find myself doing this with many items, holding out on them until the perfect time. Well, I've decided its about time to stop worrying about the event and break these clothes out before they get dusty! This skirt is so versatile, it could be fancy or casual so for this night I decided to pair it with a casual camo tee for a date night with the hubby. Dressed up camo, why not?!

Our honeymoon concluded with five spectacular days in Bora Bora. The island is like no place you have ever seen and makes you want to take a picture every single step you take. The food, people, romantic atmosphere and beautiful scenery made it the perfect honeymoon. Bring me back!!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to the most amazing mom anyone could ask for. My mom is truly an amazing person and role model to me. She is strong, smart, beautiful, fun and anyone who knows her knows she loves a good dance party. My mom has contributed greatly to the person I am today and her love of shopping was of course passed along to me. She probably did not know it, but being dressed up in head to toe leopard as a baby led me to my leopard obsession and ultimately the creation of this blog! 

I would also like to say Happy Mother's day to my mother-in-law. I am so lucky to not only have one, but two incredible mothers in my life and I love you both!
