Makeup Obsessions

Hi there! I wanted to introduce you to my newest makeup obsession, Charlotte Tilbury. I had previously tried out a few of her products and was so impressed by the talented make-up artist's line. The team at Charlotte Tilbury recently sent me the Filmstars on the go palettes and its safe to say they have quickly become my favorites.

The best part about the filmstars palettes is that they are a two-minute, two-step pocket-palette for a full eye, cheek and lip look on-the-go and the colors are just gorgeous. I love how they are titled the look they are going for as well. For example, "some like it hot"  (the prettiest pink lip and my fave so far) and "rebel without a cause" .

On The Go "The Spy Who Loved Me" c/o /  On The Go "Breakfast At Tiffanys" c/o /On The Go "Rebel Without A Cause" c/o / On The Go "Some Like It Hot" c/o / lipstick, mascara, lip pencil, eyeshadow available here
All Charlotte Tilbury products can be found at Nordstrom. P.S. Be sure to check out their top products just in time for  the perfect Valentine's day gift.

Dreaming of...

resort

Warm weather!! If you live on the east coast you are probably stuck inside watching the snow build up. Not that I really mind it, I have plenty of things to do indoors and kind of like the idea of being holed up in my apartment. On another hand, I have gravitated towards all things resort wear. Maybe its because of the cold and snow or because I have an upcoming trip or because I am dreaming (and hoping) of fitting back into my cute little bikinis and dresses. Most of all, I just love resort wear, I love the bright colors, patterns, easy going pieces and look of all of it so I've rounded up a few of my faves from the internet. Happy shopping and dreaming of warmer weather!

Casual

A Pea In The Pod sweater c/o / AG Jeans / Marc Jacobs vest (similar here) / Stuart Weitzman boots

Today I've teamed up with A Pea In The Pod to show you a casual look with my growing bump. I've been living in leggings but it feels good to "dress up" a bit with jeans and a sweater. I love how this sweater has built in jewels to give it a little glam and I added a fur vest to keep warm. If you are currently expecting, there are some great sweaters out there that won't break the bank and can be cute at the same time. See below for some of my faves!

Second Trimester Must-Haves

second trimester must haves

The Tummy Rub Butter - I've been putting this on almost every day in hopes of avoiding those stretch marks, so far so good!
-ASOS Maternity (this exact dress here)- My go-to for chic maternity wear that won't break the bank. I recently picked up this dress and this dress and have a few items saved up for when the weather gets a little better.
-David Lerner leggings - I've been living in these and love how they come in cool fabrics. I just got these and am obsessed!
-Eminence Skin Care- I never put much thought into my skin care until my skin started acting up during the pregnancy. After getting an amazing facial in Maui, they introduced me to Eminence skin care. It's all organic and has been nurturing to my skin.
-Honest Sanitizer Spray- I carry this with me everywhere I go. Especially living in the city and with the combination of germs and weather, I definitely need to ensure I am keeping as healthy as possible.
-Gap Layering Tanks- Perfect for layering that will last me though the whole pregnancy. Plus Gap always has great sales.
-Wool Poncho- A great way to look chic while bundled up in the cool weather.

Winter Wear

Maternity AG Jeans / Helmut Lang sweater (similar here) / Zara scarf (similar here) / Gap hat (love this one) / SAM jacket / Gloves via Wink / Rag & Bone boots

The one downfall of being a blogger is shooting in the freeeezing cold. This day was a cool 20 degrees or so and I was freezing my butt off! I've been spending lots of time indoors these days and starting to get in major maternity mode aka planning the nursery, cleaning baby clothes, registering and all that good stuff. I feel like time is now flying by and before you know it baby boy will be here! I hope you are staying warm wherever you are....

New Year's Investments

New Year New Clothes

Faux Fur black jacket / Rag & Bone Jeans / Frame Denim skinny jeans / Sergio Rossi gray shoes / Givenchy black purse / Jennifer Zeuner diamond necklace / DANNIJO crystal jewelry / Chloé eyewear / Intermix black gloves / Forever 21 loop scarve / Stuart Weitzman 5050 / Chambray shirt / Equipment Margaux Top

New year, new wardrobe. I recently went through a major closet purge, really trying to give away pieces that I haven't worn in over a year. Of course there are those few pieces that I can't let go of yet but I was able to make some headway. Right now shopping hasn't been too much on the brain as I am halfway through my pregnancy and no need to be buying new items. In the meantime, I am focusing on investing in statement pieces that will last me a while and not come and go as a trend. Here are a few on that list.
