Life lately has been crazy! One day I was overdue and the next day I have a beautiful baby boy in my life. Dylan is over a month old and I cannot believe how fast time is flying. Every day is a new experience and I am absolutely loving it. Sure, there are definitely ups and downs. My first day alone with him I cried while he cried, I am constantly learning something new about his behavior, I've never googled so many things in my life, cleaning never ever stops and I basically sleep with one eye open but overall I am doing pretty good. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things so hoping to be updating on a more consistent basis. That being said, bare with me as things take a little longer over here with many (but cute) interruptions. Hope you're having a great week!

P.S. In the meantime, keep following along on Instagram

Nursery Transformation

Today I am very excited to show you the transformation of our second bedroom into the nursery. This room for a few years was deemed the "blue room", clearly no explanation neccessary. It was probably my favorite room in the apartment, but after finding out baby boy was on the way we knew we had to say goodbye to those dark blues and zebra prints. Prepare yourself for a long post ahead but read along for the full transformation and before and after pictures.

Our vision was to have a calm, serene room with a color palette of greys, neutrals and blues. Our "theme" was based on the beach, water and travel. The room feels very adult-like while still having aspects of a babys room. As you will see below, we incorporated small details that were very "us" and wanted to make the room both special to us and the baby. I could not be happier with how it came out and am excited for you to see how our vision came to life. Also, I have to give a big shout out to my husband, Paul, who was really the visionary for the room and incorporated some of his amazing photographs.
