Men’s Grooming Tools

There is an adage that says, “get the right tools for the job”. This is not just applicable to mechanic in his workshop, builders on the site, farmers cultivating the large expanse of land or electricians working on the domestic electrical connections. This adage is very much applicable to men’s good looking because it takes the use of the right grooming tools to have the excellent look of a well-groomed man. Using the right grooming tools is very important to give yourself that handsome look you have always desired. Personal hygiene is a lifelong Sisyphean task. It is very important that you go for the effective tools for taming hairs that tend to grow weird and your nails that are becoming longer than expected so you can keep looking good. Remember, “looking good is good business”. Here are some best men’s grooming tools that you should have as arsenals for your grooming:

Combs

In the old days, it was a common practice for men to keep their combs with them because it was a regular expectation to keep a properly styled hair. It is still so today. Men still pay attention to their hair style and give it a unique look as they desire. Because there are different hair styles for men, the size of your chosen comb will largely depend on the hair style you keep.

Shaving Brushes

Shaving Brushes are very helpful in holding the shaving cream from watering down while shaving. Shaving brushes have bristles which are made from different materials like synthetic fibers or horsehair. The bristles of the shaving brush absorb the moisture of the shaving cream and make the shaving cream thicker and sticky to the skin while shaving to avoid watering down. The quality of any shaving brush is determined by the effectiveness of its bristles. (more…)

Girl on a Budget

Girl on a Budget

It’s always a great feeling to be wearing something that you know didn’t break the bank, but looks like it did. I love a Saturday searching for great finds at the likes of Zara, Mango, H&M, Necessary Clothing. Don’t forget about on-going sales at some of your favorite stores. I searched the web for some of my favorite finds this week, and from this ensemble I would say being a “girl on a budget’ doesn’t look so bad.

V-day Goodies

V-day GoodiesValentine’s Day. Not on the top of my list of most favorite holidays, but I do love me a good box of chocolates ( I make sure this is requested well in advance every year!)  and an excuse to buy things all pink and girly. My husband and I have spent quite a few Valentine’s Days together and this year we are heading to Bahamas with my family. While the dinner won’t be quite as intimate (with mom, dad, brother, aunts and uncles), we are looking forward to a tropical getaway, spending time together away from the NYC stressful life and enjoying SUN, tropical drinks and lots of R&R.

Whether you are spending the day with your latest fling, a boyfriend, husband or your girlfriends I hope you have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!
